As described on this web page, The Engelbrecht Tales ("the Chronicles of the Surrealist Sportsman's Club") first appeared as separate stories in Lilliput including illustrations by James Boswell.
The papers of Montagu Slater, a twentieth-century writer, poet and libtrettist, and theatrical material in the University of Nottingham Library's Lawrence Collection, which has manuscripts of his plays, David and Touch and Go, the latter containing information about the staging of the play - here.
